OLD NEWS.... (archived) Great news! All chaperone spots are now filled. Thank you to all the parents who are accompanying the bands on our Chicago trip! If you did not receive a notice from your student with their current account balance - please ask them for it. EVERY student was given their account balance information the week of February 14 to be brought home. At this time it is very important that the remainder of payments be turned in by the deadline of April 1 - which coincides with the date the hotel block has to be paid for the entire band. If your student cannot find the envelope that was given to them in February - and you need to verify your account balance - please contact the Band Booster Treasurer - Lisa Johnson - cafemomodessa@yahoo.com . As always - for questions or concerns: please email Mr. Hansen or contact him at the school. It is important to note that once we know the final number of students traveling to Chicago - we will be able to solidify the final cost per student. Any monies in excess of the final cost will of course, be refunded to the students. More specific schedule and location information will be coming very soon - but here are some of the highlights that are coming together at this time. It's going to be an awesome trip! We may or may not make it to ALL of these destinations but this gives you an idea! Your trip fee (chaperones as well as students fees) will cover all group meals and sightseeing attractions in addition to the cost of travel & hotel.
We'll be staying in Downer's Grove at a Doubletree Suites Hotel. Hot breakfast will be provided by the hotel each morning. For more information about the Dixie Classic Festival - click on the banner! Archived Information:

PAYMENT
SCHEDULE As hoped - the overall cost for this trip has worked out to be LESS than the original planned amount. For those students who have paid the original $450 - the $75.00 overage can be applied toward next year's fees or refunded to the parents by check. A note will be coming home next week to be returned with the requested method of refund. Suggested "pocket money" for students is $20 for miscellaneous expenses. All group meals are included in the total amount - this is just for snacks, sodas, etc.
