REMINDER: BAND BOOSTER MEETINGS ARE EVERY SECOND MONDAY OF THE MONTH AT 7PM IN THE OHS BAND ROOM. Color Guard is PART OF THE BAND!!!! It would be great to see some guard parent faces at the next meeting.

The color guard has two performing seasons at Odessa High School, the fall season and the winter season. The fall guard performs with the Band of Distinction at all home football games and all marching festivals. The fall guard rehearses each day from 7:00-8:45 with the band and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9. The guard has consistently earned top honors at every marching festival for the past 4 years.

The winter guard has competed for the past 4 years in the Mid-Continent Color Guard Circuit. In 2006 the winter guard won the Kansas City Regional Winter Guard International Competition. They are also a National Semi-Finalist earning 5th place in their division.
