Considerable discussion regarding the chaperone situation for the Chicago trip. We will need to make a decision, including commitment from the required number of chaperones, by January 31. Several alternatives were discussed and will be presented to all band parents for input at the Holiday Concert December 11. Mr. Hansen and Mr. Spayde will create a document outlining the options that will be distributed and collected that evening.   Archive: Survey

10 for $10 (or 20 for $20) were good fund raising options for students in the past. Belinda Johnson will create a brochure for students who would like to do some fund raising in this format.  Correction: Mr. Spayde has the old format brochure and will be revising it for current usage.

We are hosting the All Conference Band on March 3. We will provide snacks in the morning (bananas, apples, nuts), lunch (for about 135 people), and an afternoon snack. We will be reimbursed for the expenses from the $7 per student fee. We will decorate the tile gym. The Conference Band will perform at 5:00 p.m.

The Pageant of Bands and Pie Auction is March 10. We will need flyers around town and handouts for non-band people. Belinda Johnson will work on the flyers. We will also need someone to handle newspaper communications. Mr. Hansen will contact Kevin Whitworth (auctioneer).

Respectfully submitted,
