Dear Winter Percussion Ensemble
Families,
The Winter Percussion Ensemble is
in need of volunteers to help get us on and off the
courts when we perform. Most things will be light to
medium in terms of heaviness. This Friday night, in the
High School Band Room, I invite you to come listen to
the group for the first time, and find out how to help
get us on and of the performance floor.
If we can make it work with a few
number of extra people, I may be able to cover their
cost to enter the event that day. They must enter with
the group at a different entrance upon arrival though. I
will have more information regarding this on Friday
Night.
We will practice from 6-8 on
Friday night with attention being paid to how to get on
and off the floor, and having the students practice for
a crowd.
If you would like to ride with the
Percussion Ensemble on Saturday, please let me know in
advance. We will leave OHS by 10:30 am. We will load the
busses to leave as soon as the OHS Winter guard is done
performing @ 4 pm.
This is going to be an exciting
year with the New and Improved Winter Percussion
Ensemble. I hope you take the time to see the group and
enjoy what they are working so hard on.
